Frank Zito Obituary

Frank Zito Sr.
Frank Zito Sr., 84, of Roseto died Wednesday, January 26 in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. Born January 14, 1921 in Roseto, Pa. a son of the late Michael and Jennie Sabatine Zito. He and his wife, the former Margie Queipo celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last December. He worked part-time for Slate Belt Pharmacy in Bangor for 10 years and prior to that had worked in various garment factories in the Slate Belt area for many years and also drove truck for both the former Chemical Lehman Trucking and the former Silver Line for over 15 years. Frank served in the US Marine Corp during World War II. He played in the Slate Belt Pool League and also was an avid bowler in the Mens Catholic Bowling League for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto. He was a member of Martocci-Capobianco American Legion Post 750 of Roseto and the Roseto Rod and Gun Club. He also was a member of the former Bangor Yellow Jackets and the former Roseto Chieftain Drum and Bugle Corps. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Margie, he is survived by Two Daughters, Solita Bartoli of Roseto and Jennie Phillips of Panama City, Fla. and Two Sons - Frank Jr. of Roseto and Michael C. of Easton and Three Sisters - Mary Demarcantonio of Easton, Grace Wooley and Vera Casciano both of Pen Argyl and One Brother Lawrence Sr. of Stroudsburg and nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A grandson Cody Edwards died earlier. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Monday in the church, third and Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto. Call on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7-8:30 pm and on Monday from 8:30-9:30 am in the Fiore Funeral Home, Third & Market Sts. Bangor. Military Entombment Services will be in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto. Contributions: To the Church, P.O.
