Sorry to hear of Fred´s passing. I last saw him bowling where we were able to catch up briefly. I met Fred in 1981 at his gym. He took me under his wing and taught a raw 18 year old kid the ropes at the gym. Many times i was there before he opened in the morning. We talked a lot and he meant a lot to me. The world is lesser without him in it. But i´ll always carry his memory with me...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Fred. Fred taught me how to powerlift over the years. I'll always remember the fun times of training and competing at his homes and gyms and how gracious he and his family was in opening their homes to many lifters over the years. You will be missed my friend. Condolences to the family.

To Freddy's family you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Know for a fact the Freddy made an immortal impact in his time here, I know for me whenever I talk about my younger years and the impact others made on my he is always on the short list as my first and only ever strength coach. I still practice and teach techniques that he taught me. So while we grieve his loss, let's also celebrate a life well lived and remembered.

Ethel, Dave and Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Fred. He was a wonderful man who I always enjoyed speaking with over 25+ years at his neighborhood gyms. He always helped me to do better in the gym as well as conversations about life and looking at things from different perspectives.
God Bless

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I'll always remember that drive you took me on showing me Allentown years ago and how it had grown. That old wooden red bridge you showed me was one of your favorites that day. Turned out to be my favorite, too. The day Uncle Charlie and you drove out to visit and I took you to middle school with me, I taught you how to rope the cattle and ride a horse on dad's ranch. That will be forever etched in my mind and heart, thank you big brother. Thank you for teaching me early on about health and exercise. I still keep up with it today.

So sorry to see the passing of Fred. I worked with him at Rinn/Butler Paper until it closed in 1993. Fred was a fun loving guy, hard worker who loved to talk about weight lifting, his passion. My prayers for peace and comfort go out to Fred's family and his many friends.
