Frederick J. Jerant
Frederick J. Jerant, Sr., 86, of Allentown died Thursday, June 4, 2009 in Liberty Nursing & Rehab. Center. He was the husband of Carolin R. (Stettner) Jerant having observed their 60th anniversary last September.Born in Allentown he was a son of the late Anton and Florence (Morrell) Jerant. He was a machine operator for the former Phoenix Clothing and a shipping clerk for the former Lisle Mills before retiring in 1974. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and a life member of D.A.V. Chapter 7 of the Lehigh Valley. Survivors: Wife; son, Frederick J., Jr. and wife Jane of Allentown; twin daughters, Jane wife of Michael Marino of Walnutport and Joan Jerant of Allentown; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony P. Jerant of Coopersburg; sister, Mary Geiger of Allentown. Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Weber Funeral Homes, P.C., 502 Ridge Avenue followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Aunt Carolin and family,
Once again our sympathy on the loss of Uncle Fred who will forever be "Freddy Boy" to us.
