Frederick A. Mory

1936 - 2024

Frederick "Fred" A. Mory, Jr., 88, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Holy Family Manor. He was the loving husband of Marion L. (Sottolano) Mory for 27 years. Fred was born on January 5, 1936, in Freemansburg, PA. He was the son of the late Frederick A. Mory Sr. and Dorothy (Haas) Mory. Fred graduated from Liberty High School and Vo-Tech, of Bethlehem. He was an electrician for IBEW Local 107. Fred was a lifetime member of Freemansburg Fire Co., and Bethlehem Twp. Fire Co. He was Vice President and served on the Board of Governors for Bethlehem Twp. Fire Co. for many years. He was also Director and Secretary for their Relief Association. Outside of the fire company, Fred served on the Bethlehem Twp. Civil Service Commission for several years. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

In addition to his wife, Fred will be deeply missed by his children, Michael Mory, Constance Wargo, Ann Wargo, and Lori Skinner; grandchildren, Wynter Mory, Ann Marie Tardie, Kaitlin Wismer (Kenneth), and Abigail Skinner; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Gianna, Kenny, Aavah, and Isaiah; sister, Marie Snyder, of Freemansburg; daughters-in-law, Carol Mory and Kathy Skinner. He was predeceased by sons, James E. Mory, Edward M. Skinner, and Thomas Mory; grandson-in-law, Michael James Tardie.

Family and friends of Fred are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, PA 18064. A Prayer Service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Bethlehem Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's memory to "Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company" and mailed to P.O. Box 3337, Bethlehem, PA 18017-0337, or to "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital" and mailed to: 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105.
