George Butch Obituary
George C. Butch, 71, of Mertztown, died Sunday August 22, 2010 in his home. He was the husband of Ann R. (Trinkle) Butch. They observed their 50th wedding anniversary on July, 9. Born in Allentown. He was the son of late Anthony F. and Mina L. (Good) Butch. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years retiring in 1992. Prior, he was a machinist at Western Electric, Allentown. He was a member of Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. He was a Navy peacetime veteran. Survivors: Along with wife; son, Anthony Frank Butch, and his wife Michele L., of Mertztown; daughter, DiAnn C. Van Scyoc, and her husband Scott B., of Alburtis; grandchildren, Georgi M., and Danica L. Butch; and loving cat, Suzi. Services: 11 a.m. Friday August 27 at Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St. Allentown. Calling 10-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. www.trexlerfuneralhome.com.
