Recently archiving family and friends I came across this obituary.Heart felt condolences go out to my friend and mentor Roger Katchur and his family re the loss of his brother George as well as his parents both Anna and George. Roger spoke fondly of his family members and especially of his mother Anna. My prayers are with you today. I am sorry for your loss. A poem written by Roger Katchur not so long ago..... Let your best be for your friends and family. And the sweetness of friendship be laughter and sharing of pleasure. For in the dew of the little things the heart find it's morning and is refreshed.

The Katchur Family---so very sad to hear of George's illnesses and then the passing...he was a such key contributor to our BALLS bass fishing group for oh so many years...many of us, including my 40 year old son, learned a lot about fishing from George...he was a Bass Master and always willing to help the rookies and less-skilled...and he was full of good stories from earlier times...and we all ended up having more fun on these Canadian trips because of him...all of us will miss him and remember these good times...may he Rest in Peace...

Dear Kathy and Family,
Gary and I are so sorry to learn of George's passing. This autumn must have been so difficult for you all, and I am so sorry. George has earned a position in a much greater place than here, but I share your sorrow here and now. He was always a very nice man to work and spend time with, and will be missed by all his friends and family.
With deepest sympathy,
