Bruce would have turned 18 this May 7th. We miss him so incredibly. I can only believe that he completed what he came here to do. And since he touched so many people with his incredible wisdom and huge heart of kindness and acceptance of everyone, I can only believe that he has another mission to fulfill...and there must be a bigger picture that we just don't see. I can only hope that he still feels the love we have for him....

Dear Hunter & Jenn,
Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy on the recent loss of your Brother. As I have lost a most precious person recently in my life, I can not comprehend the loss of a Son and Brother at such an early age. My Heart goes out to your Mother and Father also. I will remember his gentle smile during his many visits at work. My heart and friendship goes out to you especially, Jenn. God Bless you all.

George stood out among many wonderful third grade students. Even at that young age, I thought of him as my gentle giant. After reading so many heartfelt entries, it’s reassuring to know he continued to follow a path of kindness and caring. I offer my sincerest sympathy to his family and friends, and hope you are able to take comfort from the many hearts he touched.

I did not know George, but everyone I know that did know him knew he was just a great person to be around. My brother lost his best friend in high school in a car accident, and it was devastating for all of us. You are in my prayers!

George was such an awesome individual, so sweet and loving. He will forever be in my heart. He was such a great friend and he always will be. I miss him very much but i hope he is in a better place. He will never be forgotten. He affected so many people's lives with his personality and his positivity, including mine. I have so many good memories with him that will forever be with me. I remember all the kickball games we played and all the basketball games we played in which he always beat me. Swimming and running and just being kids. My prayers are with his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter knew your son from school and told me what a great friend he was to her. May God bless you during this difficult time.

During thunderstorms, my Mom would tell me that the angels were bowling in heaven and the thunder was when they would get a strike. Well, maybe the lightning is a flash from heaven’s newest photographer. Never stop telling stories, because they will keep him alive in your heart forever.
While I did not have the honor of knowing George, it sounds like he was a wonderful person. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I remember George especially in 6th grade. We were both on the same team and had the same teacher. I especially remember his relationships with his teachers though; George was one of the nicest guys I knew. I remember how he would always remember the things that you would want someone to remember about you and even more, would ask you about it. I especially remember this one instance. Our teacher would come into school everyday in classy formal wear - shirt, tie, and coat. George then bet him that he would not only wear formal wear for a day(as a 6th grader that is quite out of the ordinary), but he would also look good while doing it. The next day we all beheld George in class with a nice classy suit, and a stance that made him look really official. From this, I saw that George was a guy who could get along with anyone, whether it be older adults or his fellow classmates. I just hope he knows that we miss him and that we will always remember him.

I was in George's math class, however we became friends in our freshman year. I would like to first say how sorry I am for your loss. Never in my life have I met such a talented, handsome, and kind boy. He was more of a man, actually, because he was smart and gave advice more wise than anyone I was friends with. He was skilled with the camera in ways I can only imagine and saw art in the most extraordinary places. I would stop in every other day and every day he would ask how my painting was going. And then he would show me his work. I really have never met anyone so into their art. My sorrow goes deep and while we will never understand why, I believe with all of my heart that George is in a safe place. I will never forget the impact he has had on my life. My prayers go out to you.
