My deepest sympathies to the Farnsworth Family to lose such a great guy. Among his "Lehighton Friends", he was known as "Hot Dog" in his teenage years. He was surely liked by many. Last time I saw "Hot Dog" we were probably 17. We re-connected again as friends on Facebook for the past few years - both of us enjoying pics of dogs, Rolling Stones videos and wildlife pics in Colorado. I will surely miss his postings and will remember "Hot Dog" as a wonderful and caring person. Again, so sorry he has passed on, he certainly will not be forgotten.

Sincere condolences to the Farnsworth family on their great loss. Gerry & I first met at Selingsgrove High School where I was teaching driver ed & he was student teaching from Susquehanna. Years later we both started teaching at Parkland High School. We were both big Penn State Fans & we played together on the faculty basketball team. We had a life-time of laughs together and our Family will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Gerry. Rich Thompson

So sorry to hear of Gerry´s passing. My condolences to the Farnsworth family. In the earl days of our time teaching and coaching together I learned very early what a hard working and loyal friend he was. In the late 70´s he gave me a sweat shirt as a gift. It is torn and tattered but I could never discard it and still wear it today. When I do I think fondly of my coworker and friend and smile. Rest In Peace my friend. Flip

So sad to hear about coach. He was my 9th grade algebra teacher and football coach in 9th & 11th grades at Panther Valley when he was just a pup himself. Our records were not good but not for lack of coaching. Grood teacher, good and fair coach, and a better human being. Rest in peace coach.

My condolences to the family of Gerry. We taught on the same hallway at PHS for 30 years. He was a supportive colleague, and made me laugh. I would see him at the grocery store and he always bellowed "Boy Yay" to me, made me feel good. He made the world a better place.

I met Gerry for the first time when I started teaching at Parkland. He was upbeat and personable, unlike some of the others there.

Susan and Family, Years have flown by since Gerry and I started teaching at Parkland Senior High, but I recall them fondly because Gerry was , always, ready for a good joke or story on a daily basis. We shared many wonderful days in the confines of the old senior high. May God be with you as you endure the pain of his passing. Farewell, my Masonic Brother. Wayne R. Dubbs
