H. Vaughn Michael Reese, 22, of Slatington, died Thursday March 10, 2016 in his home. He was born February 14, 1994 in Allentown and was the son of Peter V. and Candace L. (Howard) Reese. He graduated from Northern Lehigh High School with honors in 2012. Vaughn was a free spirit who was an avid reader as well as a published author and poet. His genuine nature radiated to everyone who knew him. Survivors: He is survived by his parents Peter and Candace, his sister Sarah, wife of Douglas Berg, His nieces, Meredith and Georgia Grace of Weisenberg Township. He is also survived by his grandmother, Carol (Fisher) Howard, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his cat Tessie. Vaughn was pre deceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Reese and grandfather, Donald C. Howard. Services: Private services are being held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being held by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Slatington Public Library, 650 Main St. Slatington PA, 18080.

No words could be said to make this better. Please except my deepest sympathies.
I think back to when our boys would play together. Vaughn would come charging out your front door and run to the end of your driveway. He would wait there with his toes right at the edge, waiting to be told it's ok to cross the street. He would then run all the way up our driveway with the biggest smile.
I think of this today as if he made one more crossing. This time, it was the Lord's arms he went to. May he have eternal peace. May you all find peace with the help of family, friends, and God's Love!
