H. Jean Rubin

Rubin, H. Jean H. Jean Rubin, 83, of Macungie, passed away June 23, 2015 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Twp. Jean was a real estate broker for John Locher Real Estate in Allentown until retiring. Prior to that, she was an owner/broker for J. Rubin Real Estate in Allentown, and worked at the Morning Call Newspaper. Born in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Mayme O. (Heisler) Rubin. Jean enjoyed traveling. Survivors: Friend: M.J. Boyd with whom she resided in Macungie, Sister: Marian Rovner of South Whitehall Twp., Nephews: Samuel J. Rovner, Marc H. Rovner, Harold Rubin and Michael Rubin, and Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Brothers: Donald and Carl Rubin. Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, at 10:30 A.M. in the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A Calling hour will be held on Friday, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
