Dear Skip,

I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I never had the opportunity to meet her; however, from what I’ve heard from other classmates she was a very special person.

I can only imagine what it would feel like to lose a mother. It must be very difficult losing someone who has been so loving, caring and supportive from the time you were born up until the time of her passing. The woman responsible for making you the kind person you are today. For these reasons you have my deepest sympathy.

Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Skip, Reg and I send our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

We pray that you all will continue to look to God for comfort and strength.

Speaking from experience, as time goes on you will be able to celebrate your Mom's life and not dwell as much on the sorrow of her death.
