Mom, I told you many of times that you were the most beautiful woman i`ve ever known. I realy ment that. You have always been a insperation to me. Your independence, values, strength, loving ways, and sense of humor lived in you to the end. I could only hope to be half the woman you were, and to be loved half as much as you. I was so blessed to have you for my mom. You were,nt just my mom, You were my best friend. My happiest times were thr times spent with you. You were the light in my life, and the love in my heart. Since you passed, the light has gone out and my heart has broken. Life will never be the same with out you. I never thought at 50 years old, I would feel like such a child. I need you mom. I miss spending time with you and our talks on the phone. I love you. Give dad a kiss for me. Be in peace. You were my angel in life. Please be my angel now. I still need you. Love, Connie

Mom,
I want to thank you for my values and determination in my life, also for always being there when I needed you. You were the strongest woman I ever knew. I hope I can be half as strong as you were. Mom, it is an honor to be able to paint your house for you. I'm painting it blue, your favorite color. I miss hearing you laugh and I miss hearing you yell at me. My life has changed since you passed away. I miss you so much my heart is broken into pieces. I miss seeing your face and talking to you. You were the best mother I could ever ask for. All five of your children were blessed having you. I promise you all of us will stay close.
Love, Diane

Mom,
You were the light of my life. I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you. Living with you these last four years was wonderful. Even when you got sick we had a lot of fun because of your great sense of humor. I really enjoyed taking care of you during that time because I was able to give something back to you after all you did for me over the years. I am truly lost without you, but I will be alright because I am strong like you and we have such a wonderful family. You were the best and I think about you often.

Grammy, I miss you so much and I still can't believe you're gone. I think about you everyday. You were such wonderful person, were always there anytime anyone needed anything, and you always knew how to make us laugh. I know you're now watching over all of us and will help us to make the right choices in life. You were always an angel in our hearts and we were all so blessed to have you as long as we did. I love you and miss you so much. Love your grandaughter April<3

To my adopted family,
The first time I met Helen was at an Avon get-together. She was the life of the party then and has continued to be the life of the Dotterer family. When surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she was at her happiest. The love of her family, and even ex-members of the family, truly impressed me at her viewing. Helen, thank you for sharing your family with mine and your kindness. I will be forever grateful for your acceptance and for the loving heart you have passed to your children.
Love for all of you,
Lissa

Helen was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The greatest gift a child can give a mother is to stand by her, and all of Helen's children and grandchildren were all there for her. The love and the grace that was bestowed upon her during her illness was remarkable. I am sure she is looking down on them and her pride could keep the sun shining forever. God has truly blessed her and her family with much honor. It is a beautiful thing to witness. You are love!

Dear Connie,
I don't know if you remember me - we were 6th grade classmates at Central Elementary.
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I met her when she hosted a baby shower for you at her home in Allentown. She was a gracious and kind person who made everyone feel welcome.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
