Homer A. Moyer, 97, of the Lutheran Home at Topton, died November 5 in Reading Hospital. He had resided at 307 W. Walnut St., Kutztown. He was the husband of the late Jennie I. Snyder Moyer, who died June 19, 2000. He was born in Greenwich Township, a son of the late Ambrose E. and Racyan R. (Ramer) Moyer. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was employed by Mack Trucks Inc. as a maintenance mechanic for 42 years retiring in 1968. Survivors: He is survived by a son, Charles R. of Kutztown; daughters, Joyce I. Leibensperger, Sandra A. Hartman and Brenda J. Bucks, all of Kutztown, Sharlene A. Stauffer of Oley; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathryn Fisher of West Lawn, Eva Miller of Berks Heim. He was predeceased by daughters, Melba Schroeder and Eleanor Smith. Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, St. Johns Lutheran Church, 201 E. Main St., Kutztown. Interment, Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Kutztown. Call 2-3 p.m. Tuesday in the church. The Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home Inc., Kutztown, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: May be made to the memorial fund of the church.
