James C. Daluisio
James C. Daluisio, 79, of Bethlehem, died Monday, October 3, 2005, in the VNA Hospice at St. Lukes, Fountain Hill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elizabeth L. Betty (Martino) Daluisio for 54 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of James and Concetta (Richute) Daluisio. Before working for the former Cutler-Hammer Co., where he designed switchboards for 27 years, he owned two restaurants. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. He was also a member of U.N.I.C.O., I.B.E.W. 1972, and the Bethlehem Pool League. He coached North East Little League and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors: His wife, Betty; sons, James E. of Bethlehem, Mark A. and his wife, Debbie, of Coplay and David A. and his wife, Kimlee, of Bethlehem Township; daughter, Mary Ellen and her husband, Roger Robinson, of Bethlehem; sisters, Mary and her husband, Robert Savitz and Rose Matla, both of Bethlehem; four grandsons, two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Florence Travisano, and brothers, Dominic, Nicholas and Charles. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 826 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem. The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 8-9 a.m. Friday in Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contributions: May be made to the VNA Hospice at St. Lukes, 709 Delaware Ave., Fountain Hill 18015.
