James McDaid

James M. McDaid, 75, of Macungie, PA passed away September 19, 2017 in his home. James was a retired computer programmer. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Patrick and Ann (McGee) McDaid. James was a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. In his retirement, Jim most enjoyed discussing politics, history and sports, and spending time with his sons and eight grandchildren. Survivors: Sons: James M. McDaid, Jr. of Basalt, CO, Patrick J. McDaid and his wife Peggy of Lower Macungie Twp., Brian C. McDaid and his wife Corinne of Rydal, PA and Kevin C. McDaid and his wife Stacy of Brielle, NJ, Brother: John P. McDaid of Laguna Hill, CA, Sister: Marie T. wife of John E. McGinley of Plymouth, PA, Former Spouse: Constance D. McDaid of Jamison, PA and 8 Grandchildren. Services: Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11 A.M. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown.
