I was honored to be in the class of 78 with such a class act. Then I got to work with his brothers on the AFD. They must have picked up his personality . Jamil could light up a room with that contagious smile. You will be missed my friend. Jim Deily

Phil, Woody and Jim's family, I'm very sorry for the loss of Jamil. He was a great classmate of mine back at Allen. Never forget the fun we had with him back in 78. My thoughts are with all of you. He will be missed.

To the Atiyeh Family,
We were very saddened to hear about this loss. We knew Jim through Home Depot. He was a pleasure to work with and always had a smile. He was always very pleasant. He showed appreciation for his installers that he had in his region. His laughter, humor, and overall general kindness will be missed greatly! May each of you find comfort in one another to get through this difficult time. We are sure you already know what a great person he was; we just wanted to let you know that he was just as great to work with as well!
Fondly,

Penny, Jamie, Jackie and Jamil's brothers and sisters. We are so very sad and sorry to hear of Jamil's passing. Only time and our hope of a resurrection can help to lighten our heavy hearts. Will never forget Jamil's "shooting the moon" and "earth to Suzanne" accompanied by his hearty laugh. Until the time we will again hear his hearty laugh,
Suzanne, Jeff, Alyssa and Kyle.

To the Atiyeh Family-
With all our love and prayers:

A good man we were
all blessed to know,
who loved his dear
dear family so.

His life was filled
with good times and gifts,
though it seemed too short
and will dearly be missed.

No more pain will
dear Jamil reap,
for in Jehovah's loving
memory he does sleep.

Penny, Jamie and
Jackie too,
how he cherished
each one of you.

Find comfort in your
family and friends,
but most importantly in
Jehovah's dear hands.

For no greater love has
there been a plenty,
than the sacrifice Jesus
provided for many.

He promised my dear friends
that Jamil will rise,
and together with his parents
will catch up with you guys.

Their smiles and laughter
will be heard again by you,
because Jehovah has promised
to make all things new.

Then there will be so much
to do and to say,
but for now may you all in
Jehovah's loving arms stay!

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing, having work with Jim for many years at Home Depot I can say that while we may not always have seen eye to eye, Jim was always a fair honest man who always had a smile. I can't ever remember Jim speaking badly about anyone, and he loved his family. May his memory serve as comfort and a blessing to all who loved him
