Jane E. (Shomper) Hantz, 55, of Barbara Lane, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp, died peacefully late Saturday evening, Sept 16, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of Kevin A. Hantz since July 29, 1988. Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and JoAnn (Walters) Shomper. Jane was employed in the service dept of Bosch Rexroth Corp, Bethlehem, for several years. She attended Faith Evangelical Free Church, Tilghman Street, W. Allentown. Jane was a 1980 graduate of the Catasauqua High School. She was an avid antique collector, and she was extremely creative, enjoyed crafting, and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors: Husband. Daughter, Jill M. Drehemsis and fiancé Kevin M. Gower of Ashfield. sons, Adam D. Reitz of Catasauqua, Kristofer A. Hantz & fiancée Kate Newhart of Lehighton. 4 grandchildren, Madison, Eric, Emma, and Aydin. sister, Jackie wife of Kevin Krammes of New Ringgold. 3 nephews. Services: Memorial Services, 7:00PM Friday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 6-7:00PM Friday in funeral home. Private Interment. Kris, Kevin, Jill, Maddie, and Adam. Man was Jane such a great mom/wife. Growing up she would always be readily available to take me and Kris up to the mountain to go skiing/snowboarding or to go to a competition, or just pick us up in town after a day of hanging out at the park. She was such a great mom and always put her kids first. She made me feel like I was one of her kids every time I stayed over at the house. She will surely be missed. Works cannot express the sadness you all are going through, but know she is no longer suffering and is now in Heaven looking down on you all everyday. I will always remember her for her kind heart.
