Joan Ernestine (Scott) Kaplan Storm, 97, formerly of Danielsville, died Tuesday March 1, 2011 at her residence at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late John Ludwig and Anna E. (Ernst) Scott. She was the wife of the late Irving Kaplan and the late Roger Storm. Joan worked as a secretary at the former Ribbon Factory in Northampton and the Catasauqua Public Library for many years. She was a former member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic church of Catasauqua. Survivors: She is survived by her three daughters, Jo Ann Kaplan and Helen Jones, of Hartfort, CT and Jean Louise Schrag, of Danielsville; step-daughter, Patricia Storm, of FL; and step-son, Frank Storm of Allentown; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Francis W. Scott. Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 5, 2011 at St. Lawrence Church, 1001 Second Street, Catasauqua, 18032.
