John was such a nice person, I remember when I started running in high school he took me to the Lehigh university cross country course and we ran many miles over the grass. Both he and his wife Lynn were so sweet to me. I´m so sorry for the loss.

Lynn,

So sorry to hear about your loss. Friends of mine shared the news with me. John was too young to leave this world. May you remember the good times you two shared together.

May God be with you at this time.

John possessed great warmth and a zest for life. I remember well sailing with John and Lynn on Lake Wallenpaupack--John was a confident helmsman and that skill will help him navigate whatever is to come for him. Sending love to Lynn.

John Donches:
-A different kind of cat;
-A loving husband to Lynn;
-A Trooper in that he'd bounce/walk from Idaho to Emmaus to personally deliver a political message he felt was important;
-A Trooper in his political/personal courage to pleasantly challenge the establishment. John will be missed.
-Liked & admired John.
- Especially enjoyed seeing Lynn & John walk around town. Big fan of both of them.

Condolences, Lynn,

Stunned and saddened to hear this shocking news. Deepest condolences to Lynn and family. She and John made a formidable team. I did not share their political views, but I admired their courage in rattling the status quo at school board meetings, Emmaus borough council meetings and county commissioners meetings. I think John even addressed Allentown City Council a time or two. And John was always pleasant to be around. I would blow my horn and waved whenever I saw them walking around Emmaus. Nice folks!
