Survivors: Son, John D. Ferreira of Emmaus; sisters-in-law, Irene Ferreira of Hokedauqua and Rose Burkhardt and her husband Carl of Orefield; brother-in-law, Alfonzo Pilolli and his wife Jeanette of Allentown; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Jay, Frank and Andrew.
Services: Gravesite services with military honors will be held Thursday, April 20th at 11:00 A.M. in the Resurrection Cemetery 547 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
Contributions: Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607 or a Veteran's charity of one's choice.

John was a great man and his son was dedicated to his dad having exceptional care. John was loved by our residents and team members here at Abode Care of Allentown. He will be missed. He left a mark on the world!

You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
