Ronnie and family, please accept our deepest sympathies!
Chip and I were saddened to hear of John's passing. We always enjoyed spending time with you guys. John didn't mince words. He told you exactly what he thought. He saw things more clearly than most. I learned a lot from just listening to him. He was generous and kind and would do anything to help you if needed. We considered it an honor to be his friend. RIP John. Maureen Lund and Chip Evans

Sending our deepest sympathies to Ronnie and family. Always thought of John every time the golf cart made the turn in route to the first tee. Admired him for his ability to stand up for what he felt was right...or wrong. Another friend from the Bethlehem/Allentown area now in a better place. May he rest in peace.

As we go through life we gain many friends and acquaintances. Very few impact you in a special way that is truly unforgettable. John was one of those people. Kind to a fault, but you always knew what he was thinking. His unvarnished, unfiltered honesty set him apart from most. You always knew he was in the room. Its some of the things Sandy and I loved about him most. He is already deeply missed and he will always be in our minds. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ronnie and his family.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God's Grace be with you and help you through this very sad and difficult time. John was a good man. He and I (Bob) shared our love for golf, especially when we won the partners tournament and our trophies a few years ago. He was an inspiration for his dedication to fitness as well as golf! He will be missed and always remembered with gratitude and great respect! Peace be with you! Sincerely, Bob and Eileen Maguire

My deepest condolence to Ronnie and family.
John was a major influence on Legends golf. He not only did an amazing job at running a huge group of guys, he stood up for things that would make the experience better for all the members, and sought to correct things that he felt were unfair or unnecessary.
He didn´t just talk the talk, John walked it.
I will so miss seeing him each day. He always had something that would interest me and time with him flew by.
Such a rough guy mouth with such a heart of gold- John was a true friend.
Rest in peace John. Save a place for me in your Saturday group in heaven. It will be an honor to stand next to you.

Our condolences to Ronnie and the Polgar family. John will be remembered as a golfer who persuaded us to play and enjoy golf by following the rules of golf. His Saturday golf events were most enjoyable, thanks to his leadership and efforts. John had a high sense of fairness. We will remember him for ever. Renga & Jan
