John D. Rossi Jr.

John D. Rossi, Jr. 89, of Allentown, passed away September 28, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the loving husband of Betty M. (Bakley) Rossi. They were married for 64 years last December. He was a professor at Lafayette College in Easton until retiring. John and his late son were certified public accountants running their business, Rossi and Company. Born in Cementon, he was the son of the late John D. and Estella (Fornaciari) Rossi. He was a graduate of Penn State University and received his MBA from Lehigh University.

Survivors: Wife, Daughter-In-Law: Maria Rossi of Northampton, Grandson: Vincent B. Rossi of Cementon, Sister: Viola Rossi of Allentown and Brother-In-Law: Richard Bakley and his wife Patricia of Mount Laurel, NJ. He was preceded in death by a Son: John D. Rossi, who passed away on August 3, 2021, Sisters: Adeline wife of Nevin Fritzinger and Amelia wife of Benedict Cosimana and Brothers-In-Law: Robert Bakley and Steward Bakley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in the Church.
