John L. Seitzinger, 60, of Whitehall, died on July 4, 2007 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was an avid fisherman and was known as Fisherman John. Husband of Nancy (Rehrig) Seitzinger, they were married 20 years. Born in Coaldale on February 24, 1947, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Seitzinger. He graduated from William Allen High School in 1965. He was a grounds supervisor for the County of Lehigh. He served in the Air Force as a military policeman attaining the rank of sergeant. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville. He was a member of Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, Northampton, Ranger Rod and Gun, Coplay, Bowling League of the Fearless Fire Company and Fairview Fire Company, both in Allentown. Survivors: Wife, Nancy; sons, Cory A. Seitzinger and his wife, Joylyn, of Bethlehem and Brig A. Seitzinger of Allentown; daughter, Tiffany M. Herring and her husband, Philip, of Whitehall; former wife, Barbara A. Seitzinger of Bethlehem Township; stepsons, Dennis Holderman of Pen Argyl, Jeff Holderman and his wife, Melissa, of Allentown and Kevin R. Holderman and his wife, Michelle, of Catasauqua; stepdaughters, Brenda and her husband, Ron Blonszinsky, of Whitehall, Diane G. Deiter and her husband, Danny of Northampton; stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Monday in Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, Pa . Viewing Sunday 6-9 p.m. in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh Street, Allentown and Monday 1:30-2 p.m. in the church. Burial in Indianland Cemetery, Lehigh Township.
