Dear Friends and Relatives,
Thank you for all the support you have shown our families during this difficult time. The cards, flowers, taking time to attend John's viewing and/or funeral have meant a lot. We are thankful that Tiffany moved her wedding date from September to May 19 and John was there to walk her down the aisle. He was a proud dad! Cory, Tiffany & Brig just returned from a week at the shore with John and Nancy and had a terrific time. God was kind to give them that week together and the joy of Tiffany's wedding. His unexpected passing is a loss for all who knew him. We appreciate your prayers. Thanks again.

I always enjoyed sitting and talking with John. I had seen John when they were stationed at Andrews AFB and visited in Japan when they were stationed there. God bless you John - you left here to soon my friend.

To all of John's family,
What a shock it was to open the paper and find out John had passed on. We just saw him at his Birthday Party, and he was his same old happy go lucky John.
We will miss that smile but will always remember him.
You are in our hearts through this very hard time.

Nancy and Family, John will truly be missed by all those he touched. No matter if was fishing, which we all know he loved, his various bowling and pool leagues we have all lost a true friend. He was a great help and contributor for all the years with the NLC Outdoor Sportsmen and one thing for sure, John would give you his honest to goodness opinion, that is how I will remember John. His presence will not be forgotten at the NLC~OSA, thanks for all your time and help John, hook 'em hard and deep.

Dear Nancy, Cory, Brig, Tiffany, Barb and all of John's family:
We were so sorry to hear about John's passing. Although we haven't seen him in many years, he was in our thoughts and conversations many times -- so many good memories of us together when we lived in Pa. We still laugh about the bookcase that he and Joe made together. What a disaster! He will live on in our memories and our hearts. Good souls always do.
Love,
Anne and Joe Monteiro

John was a great man whom I was lucky to know. He left us too soon but not without many endearing memories that I shall always remember. He will truly be missed.

Dear Nancy and family. Im really sorry. Its scary because my father and I were just at the house a couple months ago. And he was even going to help my dad get threw my uncles passing away. which was a couple months ago aswell. This shocks me a whole lot. But I hope this poem will help. It helped me with my uncle.
I do Believe.
There is nothing I can do,
to make him come back
There are no words I can say,
that can replace the words you long to hear.
There are no answer's I can give to you that will satisfy your questions.
There is not another sould I can introduce to you that will ever replace his.
And, there is no love I can offer that will ever replace the love you shared
I can not promise your broken heart will ever be complete.
I will not say it could have been worse.
I will not deny it was a tragedy.
I will not lie and tell you he will come back...
He never really left...
But I do promise he will hear you when you speak.
I will say he loves you no matter the distance.
I will not deny he is in a better place.
And, I will not lie, he is waiting to greet you someday.
He is in every Step you take
He is in everything you do
He is the air you breathe
He is in every beat of your heart
He is like the wind. You cannot see him, but you can always feel him.
I Do Believe.
