I think writing in here is almost like talking to you for me. Cristy sent a letter to the house. She didn't know. She took it hard, and said she would miss you to. I never gave up on you ,even though I made it rough for you at times, but you made it very hard for me too. I will always have you in my heart (buddy). Love you, miss you, and think of you always. Love Dad.

I'm so, so, so very sorry to hear about Jon. He was one of the people I counted on most to make me laugh throughout our years in school. He was a kind soul and I will NEVER forget him. I know there are many others who can say the same. You'll be missed, my Rio. I'll see you one day and we'll both be wearing really lame t-shirts. Rest in peace, old friend.

Cindy -- Although I never knew your son Jonathan, I have had the pleasure of being in your company on several occasions with Nancy. I feel a closeness when I'm in your company that can only be experienced by another who has a son that struggles with the same disease that took Jonathan away. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
