I first met Joe when we attended Kindergarten together back in 1948 or so. In that era we spent many hours playing exciting games like cowboys & Indians, Hide & Seek, fishing, tree climbing etc. till dark. Although we went to different Jr High and High Schools We still had fun times together. After High School we both went our separate ways but reconnected later, although mainly by phone. During these phone calls we reminisced about the fun times we had growing up. Although Joe went through some tough times, he never complained but always talked about the good life he had with Ann Marie and the kids and grandkids.
Joe called me about 3 month ago because I was going to have some (minor) surgery. All he talked about was what I might go through, not one word about what he was going through. He said he would call me after my surgery...he never did. I now live 2,800 miles from Bethlehem but I will still miss him dearly.

We worked with Joe for many years at Super Fresh. What a great guy. Always smiling and making everyone laugh.
So sorry for your family´s loss.
