Joseph G. Karo
Joseph G. Mick Karo, 69, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Emma J. (Frick) Karo Schwab. Mick was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Catasauqua. He worked for many years for Lehigh Wholesale of Allentown in their accounting department. Joseph was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and served in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors: Cousins, Jane Zednik, of Emmaus and Richard Frick of Center Valley; uncle, Richard Frick of Whitehall;other cousins. Services: Will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009, in the Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. www.brubakerfuneralhome.com Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hospice Unit or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, care of the funeral home.

Joe was a very kind man and will be greatly missed. His memory was amazing, he remembered me after 7 or 8 years of not seeing him. One of his aides.
