Joseph Lopsey, Jr., 78, passed away at his home in Palm Bay, Florida on Saturday, May 8, 2010. He was born in Stiles, PA and was the son of Joseph and Sara (Vogel) Lopsey. He retired from the Air Force after 24 years of service. While in the Air Force he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation, the Air Force Commendation, the Army Commendation and medals from the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the Air Force Sergeants. Prior to retiring in Florida he worked in real estate and for New Style Homes in Rochester, NH. Survivors: He is survived by this wife of 34 years, Hazel (Warburton) Lopsey of Palm Bay, Florida (formerly of Rochester, NH); a daughter, Lynne Ensminger of Emnaus, PA; a son, Mark Lopsey of New Hampshire; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Mark Sessler of Lebanon, Maine; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jake (Betty) Roth of Fayetteville, NC; nieces, Mrs. Thomas (Delores) Basso of Allentown, PA; Sally J. Leiser of N. Augusta, SC; Suzanne Peters of Ocean City, MD; Elizabeth Albright of Pocono Pine, PA and Judy Turner of Allentown, PA. He was predeceased by a son, Craig Lopsey; a step-daughter, Lynn Zenie; sister, Mrs. Eleanor Guess of Slidel, LA and sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Warren Leiser of Allentown, PA.
