Joseph S. Wojcicki
Joseph S. Wojcicki, 91, died December 31, 2010 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Joseph lived in Great Meadows area all of his life and was born in Newark, NJ on October 9, 1919. Son of the late Stanley and Katherine (nee Galeta) Wojcicki. He was a hard working vegetable farmer, bulldozer excavator responsible for numerous projects both local and distant, plus, trusted road foreman of Liberty Township for 22 years. Home was everything to Joseph Wojcicki. For 91 years he was a renown member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and was believed to be the last member of the Holy Name Society. A strong man of Gods earth, Joe loved to work in the garden, on his land, and about his home. Survivors: Joseph is survived by his wife of 56 years, Agnes at home; daughters, Sister Mary Theresa Wojcicki, SCC., Christine, and her husband, Brian Thompson, and son, Zachary; Joes son, Mark, and his wife, Cheryl, with Marks, son Adam; daughter-in-law Erin, their children, Emily and Alden; Marks son and daughter Randy and Stephanie; Cheryls daughters, Felicia and Cassandra; Joes youngest daughter, Maggie Wojcickl and her husband, Paul Spitz. Joseph is also survived by two sisters, Stella Wojcik, of Great Meadows, NJ and Anna Misich, of Morris Plains, NJ; in-laws; nieces; nephews and many friends. Predeceased by three brothers, George, John and Steve. Services: Visitation; Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, 11 a.m. at Sts., Peter & Paul R.C. Church, Great Meadows, Rt. 46W, NJ 07838. Contributions: In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sisters of Christian Charity, 350 Bernardsville Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 or Compassionate Care Hospice, 532 Lafayette Rd., Sparta, NJ 07871Interment Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
