Josephine Druckenmiller Obituary
Josephine R. Druckenmiller, 80, of Northampton, died April 15, 2004 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Charles W. Druckenmiller Sr. They celebrated their 60th year of marriage on July 3, 2003. Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Gallick) Makovsky. She was head baker in the cafeteria for the former Northampton Area Junior High School for 13 years. She was a member of Assumption of the B.V.M. Catholic Church, Northampton, and its Young at Heart Group. She was a director and co-charter member of AARP 3915, Northampton. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Sandra L. w/o Lewis C.W. Resh Jr. of Sunrise, Fla., Cynthia L. w/o Michael Ambrosino of Whitehall; sons, Charles W. Druckenmiller Jr. of Northampton, James D. Druckenmiller Sr. of Sunrise, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Leona Kahl of Bethlehem, Bernadine w/o Dale Wehr of Catasauqua, Connie w/o Donald Buss of Alburtis; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 19, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the church, 22nd and Washington streets, Northampton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial, Zion Cemetery, Allen Township. Contributions: Church memorial fund, c/o the funeral home.
