Karen D. Marcks

Karen Doreen Marcks, of Allentown, passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 75. She was the daughter of Edwin Steiner and Isabel (Schuler) and was predeceased by her Son Troy Michael Marcks, Grandchild Veronica, Son in Law David Scott Lustick and Brother Ronald Schuler. She loved children and took great pride in being a grandmother and homemaker, spending time with the kids and making them the best they can be and always putting others first. Karen was a member of Dubbs UCC, cofounder of various Lehigh Valley restaurants, and had worked for many years for Wood Co. at Muhlenberg College. She loved the era of the 1950's, was a bowler, played volleyball, enjoyed country music and art. She was a sports fan watching the Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State. Survivors: Daughter Doreen Lustick, Sons: Elwood M. Marcks Jr. and wife Amy., Chad Marcks and wife Rochelle, Trev Marcks and Michael Marcks (whom she helped raise) and wife Melissa. Grandchildren: Dakota, Avalon, Troy, Mackenzie, Olivia, Nolan, Chase, Trent, Madison and Gracie. Brother Theodore Steiner and wife Paula, Sister Jayne Erie. Services: A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 8 from 10AM until a Service at Noon; both will be at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton Street, in Allentown. If you are sending flowers Karen loved white roses. A burial will take place on Thursday March 10th at 11:30AM at Fairview Cemetery, 855 Lehigh Street in Allentown.
