Norbert Charles Gehringer

Norbert Charles Gehringer, 89, husband of Lorraine Ann (Bright) Gehringer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late John B. Gehringer and Helen (Grim) Gehringer.

Norbert was a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a life-long member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally. Norbert was also an avid fisherman and hunter. He participated in archery shoots at Bowman's. Norbert enjoyed collecting model trucks, bank trucks, and Hess trucks; and enjoyed gifting them to his grandchildren over the years.

Surviving along with his wife, Lorraine of 68 years, are his children Steve Gehringer, husband of Doreen, Barbara Dykie, wife of Patrick, and Alan Gehringer, husband of Renée; grandchildren Andrew, Daniel, Adam, Brittany, Katlyn, Amanda, Matthew, and Emily; great grandchildren Miles, Cade, Luka, MaKenna, Colton, Emeric, Micha, Laurel, Mackenzie, Ava, Elizabeth, and Isaac. He is predeceased by his grandson Alan Gehringer Jr.; brother Leonard Gehringer; and brother Donald Gehringer.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:30AM at Most Blessed Sacrament (610 Pine St, Bally, PA 19503) with Fr. Andy Gehringer and Father James celebrating. Burial will follow at Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 9:30AM-11:30AM at the church.
