Dear Joanne & Family...Just a final entry to say you are on my mind & in my heart!...In the times Karen & I would sit out in the breezeway speaking of our lives..she related the many friends she had and how she loved her job..a great life brought to a halt by a terrible disease!!! I understood her..as my life changed with the Breast Cancer...You fight the disease but sometimes retreat inside yourself!! I understood her & I MISS HER!! As your Mom so wonderfully put it "Nothing is harder than saying good-bye to someone you love". Take Care.xo

Joanne, my condolences go out to you and your family. I can't say it any better then Jan did..........the year 2006 will never be forgotten. You and Karen became our instant friends and cared so much about us, hardly even knowing us. I will never forget all of our long talks and laughter out in the breezeway. Karen will be missed!

We will all miss Karen and her smile. She was always happy whenever I saw her. She never missed a family occasion and made such an effort to attend. She was someone I looked up to as an older cousin.
