Kathryn E. Wimmer
Kathryn E. Wimmer, 99, of Coopersburg, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Ray A. Wimmer. Born in Coopersburg, she was the daughter of the late Irwin F. and Ellen C. (Mory) Weil. Kathryn was a seamstress for the former Tuttleman Manufacturing in Quakertown and several other clothing manufacturers in the Coopersburg area for many years before retiring in 1977. She was a member of Faith U.C.C., Center Valley. Mrs. Wimmer was an avid camper and a member of the Friedensville Senior Citizens Group. Survivors: Daughter, Evelyn K. Trumbauer and her husband Kenneth N. of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Dean W. Trumbauer and his wife Donna M., Deanna M. Colagio and her husband Ronald B., all of Coopersburg; great- grandchildren, Ian, Drew, Jordan, Hailey; sister-in-law, Mary Weil of Coopersburg; Kathryn is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Warren W. Wimmer; and by her brothers, Russell, Alvin and Harold. Services: 11 a.m., Saturday, Faith U.C.C., 5992 Route 378, Center Valley, 18034.
