Linda J. Dunn
Linda J. Dunn, 61, of East Greenville, passed away September 13, 2010 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of William M. Dunn and they would have observed their 40th wedding anniversary on October 10. Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of E. Pauline (Kramer) Nace, of East Greenville and the late C. Kenneth Nace. She graduated from Pennridge High School in 1967 and continued her education at West Chester State College. Mrs. Dunn held the title of Director of Music and Worship at Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville, where she served as the organist and choir director for more than 40 years. In addition, since 1977 she was employed as office manager for several Weis Markets. Her memberships included Christ Lutheran Church, the United Schwenkfelder Choir and the Upper Perkiomen Choral Arts Society. She was a talented musician. Most of all, she was absolutely committed to her faith and was a warm, compassionate person, who touched everyone she knew. She was a loving wife, a devoted and caring daughter and mom, a truly great grammy and a wonderful friend. Survivors: In addition to her husband and mother are a son, Chris Dunn and his wife Tami, of Pennsburg; a daughter, Tammy Hilland and her husband, Clint, of Greensburg, PA and four grandchildren, Nathan, Emilie, Kylie and Logan. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Saturday, September 18, 2010 between 9 and 10:45 a.m. and are invited to attend her Celebration Service at 11 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville. Interment adjoining cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 213, Kulpsville, PA 19443. Arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer, Lansdale.
