Oh my, I was so sorry to read of Linda's passing. I kept meaning to call and have lunch again...

She was my Spanish teacher way back in the 70's, and we'd kept in sporadic contact ever since.

Katy, sorry I found out about this so late. I would have liked to pay you respects sooner, and even come to the service.

You and I actually had lunch together with your mom once when I was home on a break from my work in Haiti

I pray find joy and peace in all the memories of the wonderful, kind, and gracious person that was your mother.

Blessings, Pat Burdette

I will miss our monthly lunch dates. Looking at your photo reminds me of you describing getting a new "do" for some occasion with daughter Katie...you know how daughters give their Mom's advice on being more 'current'!

Admired your spunk, especially after losing your beloved Denny. You had such a great circle around you with family and friends....we should all be so lucky and thankful for such a posse.

We will all miss your bright eyes & sweet smile. You gave so much to us all. I can still speak Spanish after 43 yrs. because you were an excellent teacher. I loved when I worked with you and Denny and Katie was a little one. My sisters all loved you too. You were one of the best teachers that there was at upper Perk.
You were creative & class was always interesting. You made us think & you really cared. We will always have a place in our hearts for you and your family! Sherry Rosenberger Clewell

Katie...There are no words to heal the pain you are feeling. Allow happy memories to carry you through this sorrowful time. Your mom left positive memories behind with many people. I remember her charming personality and warm smile. Such a lovely woman. I wish you and your family strength and peace.

We are very sad to hear that Linda passed away. We met Linda and Dennis years ago while attending many antique auctions. Linda was a very caring and special person who will be greatly missed by everyone she came in contact with. I was hoping that we could meet for lunch in the spring, but sadly that is not meant to be.

I was saddened to hear of Linda's death. I met Linda through our daughters'. I used to watch Katie after school on Wednesday s . Linda was the most warm, friendly person who treated me & our family like she'd know us forever. She truly was a generous, loving person. I remember when my girls were young Linda would invite us to their beautiful home for ice skating, lunch, & parties. I can't say enough about how warm, caring, & welcoming she always made us feel. She was funny & so bright. She truly left a mark on my soul. Even though our children grew older & as things go we didn't see each other much, I just had to take this opportunity to express my condolences. There are certain people you meet in life that are just so special & Linda is one of them. See had a light about her that I know will be missed by all she touched. God bless her & her loved ones....
