Loretta Oplinger Obituary

Loretta M. Oplinger, 57 years, of New Tripoli, passed away September 12, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of Robert C. Oplinger for 38 years this past May. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Mildred L. (Burkhart) Englehardt of Kutztown and the late John L. Englehardt. She was a secretary for her husbands company, A-1 Electric, Plumbing and Heating in Berks Co. for 35 years. Loretta was a member of Hope Community Church in Claussville. Survivors: Husband; sons, Jason Oplinger and Trisha Urban and Benjamin and wife Kimberlee, both of Hamburg; brother, Gary L. and wife Gwenn of Kutztown; grandchildren, Dilana and Gavin Oplinger and Cora Urban. Services: 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 14, at Keller Funeral Homes, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with the Rev. Kenneth Kalisz officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 15 at Forrest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the John & Dorothy Morgan Cancer Center, P.O. Box 689, Allentown, PA 18105. We only had the pleasure of meeting Loretta for a short time, but felt we knew her forever. We will remember her always as a sweet and loving person. She is at peace now and we pray for her family and friends. God Bless Pete and Sandie Baney
