Loretta Wetherspoon Obituary
Loretta J. Wetherspoon, 75, of Allentown, passed away, Saturday, June 1, 2013, at home. She was the wife of the late Roland Wetherspoon, Jr. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy Francis and Marjorie G. (Schantz) Rabenold. She was a wonderful mother and her greatest joy in life was her family. Survivors: Sons, Rusty and his wife, Juanita, of Allentown, Dave and his wife, Cindy, of Bethlehem; daughter, Judy, wife of Todd Cocivera, of Lancaster; three brothers; six sisters; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Entombment will follow in Grandview Mausoleum, Allentown. A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. www.trexlerfuneralhome.com.

I remember fun times growing up with Loretta when she lived on 5th St in Allentown. I lived on Levan Alley. We walked to school together, and in the summer--to Fountain Park for swimming. She was a good friend from my youth whom I've not forgotten. God bless the family with peace.
