Louise Bloch Obituary
Louise E. Bloch, 92, died October 11, 2008, at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, Fla. She was the wife of the late Eugene Bloch. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Elisa (Pietrobon) Dalcin. She was a former secretary of Nativity Lutheran Church and The Village Inn Restaurant, both of Allentown. She was a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Survivors: Son, Gene and his wife Cindy Bloch; daughters, Mary Ellen, wife of Robert Beideman, Kay, wife of Ron Loch, Marjorie, wife of Robert Hatfield; sisters, Emma, wife of Frank Favazza, Ida Neri; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters, Betty Jane Bloch and Barbara Dick. Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008, Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Please accept my sincere condolences. Louise was my father's, (joseph zoppi) first cousin. I remember her as a child when i lived in east Allentown. She was a very kind gracious woman. Dear Maryellen, Kay & Family. My sympathies on the passing of your mother Louise. I was an old neighborhood friend from 21st & Liberty Sts. and remember your family well, I was sorry to read that you lost two sisters. Barbara was the closest to my age and Sara Gehringer another friend. Hope all is well with the rest of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
