Manuel Carvalho Obituary
Manuel A. Carvalho, 44, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in his home. Born on April 26, 1960 in Portugal,he was a son of Cidalina (Tavares) Carvalho of Bethlehem and the late Francisco F. Carvalho. He was the husband of Helena M. (Tavares) Carvalho. They celebrated 20 years of marriage on August 11, 2004. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was a foreman for Marbell Construction Company. He also worked for Jude Enterprises for 15 years. He was a member of the Portugese American Club. Survivors: Mother; wife; daughters, Alexandra Isabela Carvalho and Elizabeth Cristina Carvalho, both at home; brothers, Joaquim A. Carvalho and Francisco O. Carvalho, both of Bethlehem; sisters, Maria C. Santos, Margarida O.C. Gomes and Maria Leonor Carvalho Lopes, all of Bethlehem and Maria Alice Carvalho of Allentown; puppy, Fluffy. Services: will held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 in the Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Calling hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday evening in the funeral home. Contributions: Carvalho Childrens Education Fund, in c/o Connell Funeral Home.

My deepest sympathies to your entire family. Manny was an excellent, cheerful man. It has been a long time since I have seen him but I can clearly remember everything about him and his family as I grew up across the street from his residence. Manny will truly be missed.
