Margaret Miller Obituary

Margaret Elizabeth Miller
Margaret Elizabeth Mille, 88, of Washington Township, died Monday, August 8, 2005 in her residence. Born September 20, 1916 in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Ida (Rasley) Ribble. Her husband, Stanley Kurtz Miller, died in 1974. She was a 1934 graduate of Bangor High School. She was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church, where she was the organist for 74 years, a former choir director and a member of the United Methodist Womens Group. She received a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for her outstanding service to the Richmond United Methodist Church. Survivors: Daughter, Deanna L. Pysher of Easton; son, Gerald L. Miller of Neola; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter. Two brothers, Harold E. Ribble Sr. and Leon Ribble, and a sister, Myrtle Ribble, all died earlier. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Richmond United Methodist Church, 8538 Delaware Drive, Bangor. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be held in Richmond Cemetery, Washington Township. The Reed/Gaffney Funeral Home Inc., Village of Johnsonville, Bangor, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: May be made to Richmond United Methodist Church, 8538 Delaware Drive, Bangor 18013.

To Margaret's Family: We send our sympathy to all of you. Let it be a comfort to know that she is in Heaven with the Lord. She is making beautiful music with all the Angels now. She was a sweet lady and we will miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Please accept our condolences. I often thought of your mother - she was always a delightful and happy person and I enjoyed talking with her.
