Margaret Nester Obituary
Margaret Sherman Nester, 83, of Emmaus, died on August 4, 2012. She was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Cahill) Jones. She was the wife of the late Joseph Sherman and the late Linwood Nester. Margaret worked as a cafeteria supervisor at Lehigh Valley Hospital until retiring. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Sons, Joseph and wife, Rebecca, John, Scott and wife Charlene, Alan and wife Ceil; five grandchildren, Christine, Caitlin and Ellen Sherman, William Bryfogle, Jr. and Lynda Erbrick; step-daughters, JoAnn McIlvain and Loretta Schneider; step-sons, Lee and Linwood Nester, Jr.; great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by step-daughters, Dolores Hallman and Elaine OBrien; brother, Walter; sister, Mary. Services: Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus.

My sincere condolences to the Nester family. Linwood and his brother Melvin were good friends of my father and mine when they worked at EFM. We had dinner with Linwood and Margaret at once a week when my father was alive. They were wonderful people and are missed. God bless you all. You have parents to be proud of.
