You were always a pretty lady, with much dignity! A beautiful smile and I was glad to know we were related, when you and our cousin married. It was always fun hanging with Susie @ the Doward/Pletz family home. You fought a courage fight until heaven needed a beautiful Angel.

My thoughts & prayers are with the family. Marianne was my cousin who I was not in touch with. Her father and my mother were brother and sister. So sorry I missed the viewing. I remember Marianne and her sister Paula who were 2 beautiful people. Rest in peace Marianne.

Words alone can't begin to express the sadness i feel in my heart when i was told Of Marianne's passing the first words i said to Paula were she is no longer in pain and she fought a long hard battle. Marianne was a beautiful soul inside and out. I have known her for over 70 yrs. She always had a smile to share even while fighting her roughest Battles.She is now in the loving arms of our heavenly father reunited with all her loved ones who passed before her. Rest in paradise sweet lady.
You will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved you.Prayers to the family for comfort and strength to get through the days Ahead. May God Bless You All.

I lost a part of me when I lost you Marianne. In our 48 years, we shared so much. We were the same age, we both had our first grandchild with a few months of each other. We both buried children. We even shared boyfriends. (Not at the same time lol). I lived with you, we lived next to each other. You shared your family with me and I shared mine with you. We watched our kids grow into adults and give us the blessing of grandchildren and great grandchildren. SO MANY BLESSINGS, You knew more about me than anyone. We even got each other bracelets that said “You are the wind beneath my wings”. We have laughed, and cried we shared everything. I will cry forever. I will be lost until we meet again. Thank you my BFF.

Marianne was my longest-living ever friend. Condolences to each and every family member in your great loss of this dear mother, grandmother and friend. Our families met in the summer of 1951. Yes, that´s 72 years ago! I loved Marianne like a sister. When we re-connected a few years ago, I learned that we lived less than 2 miles apart. We got together over coffee as she especially enjoyed my flavored organic coffees. Sometimes we sat on the patio & talked politics. We would hug and chat and hug again.
I had the highest regard for this beautiful lady who had so many many crosses to bare later in life. She deserves peace and I know that she´s now at peace.
Marianne married my cousin, Johnny Whitby, in the 60s so in essence, we did become family. There´s not a soul on this earth who could take Marianne´s place in my heart. I will miss Marianne for the reminder of my life and when I´m watching the political shows that she watched that we discussed online, she will forever be right there with me. I will see her right by my side. With all my love, I wish her a heavenly afterlife. May you rest in peace, dear one. Your lifelong friend whom you called Rosie will cherish the memories of you forever.

She was my best friend. Marianne was the most caring, kind, helpful and generous in every way. She helped me through any kind of situation and cared about her children and grandchildren and friends with so much love and compassion. She brightened up our lives with her beautiful smile and always wanting to help us in every way possible. Her beauty was something to be remembered. I and people who knew her are all blessed by having her in our lives. Thank you Marianne for all that you did to brighten my life and others who knew and loved you. May God welcome you into heaven and all it's blessings.
