Marie L. Rosar

1924 - 2015

Rosar, Marie L.Marie L. Rosar of Fountain Hill passed away June 10 at the age of 90. She was born November 28, 1924 in Upper Black Eddy, PA. She was the daughter of Ernestine and Ignatz Laky. She was married 68 years to her devoted and loving husband Paul. They enjoyed Musikfest and could often be found dancing the night away in the polka tent. She was an active member of Holy Ghost Church where she was a proud and dedicated member of the perogies and noodle making teams, working tirelessly and oftentimes with severe back pain to support the church. Until recently, she rarely missed Sunday Mass but was always there in spirit. She loved to sew, knit and crochet. She was extraordinary baker and was known for her kiffles. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors: husband, Paul, her oldest son Paul, his wife Pat and their son, Dan, the grandson she never thought she would have or see grow up, of Annadale, NJ, her daughter Sandra of Fort Lauderdale, FL, her youngest son Robert and his wife Kathy of Hellertown and her surviving brother Joseph and his wife Roseanne of Bethlehem. She is predeceased by her sisters Anna and Pauline and her brother Frank. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, June 15th at Holy Ghost Parish, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem, where family will receive relatives and friends 10-11 am. Interment will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill.
