Marie Szep

1934 - 2016

Marie T. Szep, 82, of Whitehall, passed away December 22, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was married to the late Stephen F. Szep for 55 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Pauline R. (Gaston) Sentiwany. A graduate of St. Peter's School and Coplay High School, she was a sewing machine operator at various local garment factories and later, a salesperson in the shoe department of the former H. Leh & Co. at the Whitehall Mall. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay. Survivors: Sons, Michael of Allentown, Thomas of Whitehall, Stephen of Galeton; daughter, Anita wife of Michael Everett of Whitehall; grandchildren, Stephen Pascoe of Northampton; John Szep of Wilmington NC; Elizabeth Szep of NYC; David and Andrew Everett, both of Whitehall; sister, Margaret Bocich of Whitehall; brothers, Joseph and James Sentiwany, both of Northampton. She was predeceased by a brother, John Sentiwany. Services: Viewing from 10 a.m.- Noon, Tuesday, Dec. 27, Robert A.
