Marjorie J. (Johnson) Saeger, 82, a 60 year resident of Red Hill and widow of Lloyd Thomas Saeger, Jr., died Tuesday at home. Born in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Suplee) Johnson. She was an Assistant Supervisor of Nursing at Merck for 24 years retiring 1992 and also had been a Private Duty Nurse at Pottstown Hospital. She was a 1947 Graduate of Lansdale High School and a 1950 graduate of Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing in Norristown where she received her Registered Nurse degree. She was a longtime member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Red Hill and the Upper Perkiomen Valley Womens Club and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at the Community Thrift Shop. Survivors: Four children, Robert T. Saeger of Black Forest, Patricia Ann Saeger of Walterboro, SC, Scott W. Saeger of Perkasie, and Jane Saeger of Hatfield; four grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Blaec and Zackery Saeger and Amanda Bublitz; and four great-grandchildren, Nick, Tommy, Zane and Peyton Saeger. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Cook and Dorothy Deavers and a granddaughter, Shea Saeger. Services: Private.
