Martha M. Fox 85 of Carlisle, formerly of 1227 Ellsworth Dr. in Whitehall passed away on Jan. 4, in the Carlisle Hospital. She was the widow of the late Richard J. Fox, Sr. and the late John Mazzeo. Born in Egypt, PA she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary (Hamulas) Ballas. She was a desk clerk for many years at the Whitehall Library. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church in Carlisle and a former member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Whitehall. Survivors: Daughter Theresa Marie wife of David Hummel of Carlisle with whom she resided. Sons Richard J. Jr. of Whitehall, Stephen Mazzeo of Flagler Beach, FL., Thomas Mazzeo of Allentown. Sisters Gloria Ballas and Dolores Anthony both of Allentown. A brother-in-law Bill Volkert of Allentown. There are eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Thomas and a sister Eleanor Volkert. Services: There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Jan. 7, in St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Whitehall at 10:00 AM.
