Marvin M.E. Staudt, 82, of 166 Penn St., Lehighton passed away Wed. Nov. 15 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Ctr. Salisbury Township, Lehigh County. He was the husband of the late Ruth M. Arnold Staudt. Born ion Dorsett, West Penn Township, Pa. Marvin was a son of the late alvin and Alice Ahner Staudt. He was a member of Peoples E.C. Church Franklin Township. A US Army veteran he serveds his country during WWII attaining the rank of PFC. Before his retirement, Marvin worked as a machinist for Bonney Forge & Steel in Allentown for many years. Survivors: 4 daughters, Susan wife of John J. Schneider of Lehighton, Barbara Babinchak of Chambersburg, Pa., Dawn wife of John Banek of San Jose, California, & Ruth wife of Charles Soldano of Bismark S. Dakota., 1 son David of York, Pa. 1 sister, Ethel Silliman of Palmerton, 1 brother Loraine & his wife Dorothy of Lehighton , 2 grandchildren, & nieces & nephews. He was predeceased b y 5 brothers, Woodrow, Leroy, Lester, Lloyd & Demont, & 2 sisters, Hattie & Helen Dreisbach. Services: Sat., Nov. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Andrew Ovask FH, 4th & Iron St., Lehighton , Pa with the Reverend Robert Shuey officiating. Call 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, S. 4th St., Lehighton with Full Military Honors under the direction of the Lehighton Area UVO
