Mary J. Alexander
Mary J. Alexander, 93, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born November 7, 1912 in Westchester, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Megna) Vallone. She was the loving wife of the late John Alexander. Mary worked for the former Trio Togs, Bethlehem Township. She retired at the age of 71. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Survivors: Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son, John F. Alexander and his wife, Jeanette, of Harrisburg; grandson, John F. Alexander and his wife, Linda, of Ashburn, Va.; granddaughter, Gina L. Klinedinst and her husband, Scott, of Williamsburg, Va.; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her grandson, Dean Alexander, husband of Nancee, of Chandler, Ariz., brothers, Nicholas, Anthony, Thomas, Russell, Joseph, James, and sisters, Frances M. Grello and Katherine Hoffman. Services: will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006 in Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Send online condolences to www.connellfuneral.com.
