Michael C. Nesfeder, 65 of Schnecksville, died peacefully, Friday March 4, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Cerula) Nesfeder, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, July 7, 1950, Michael was the son of the late John and Ludmilla (Von Goldman) Nesfeder. He was a graduate of Kutztown University with a B.S. in Political Science. Prior to retiring in 2013, Michael was employed in banking, finance and real estate. He was an avid skier, loved gardening and spending time with his German Shepherds, Jazz and Jake. Michael will forever be remembered as a devoted husband and caring father. His family was the most important aspect of his life. Michael was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Patricia; son, Dr. Jonathan M. Nesfeder and his wife, Dr. Carolina P. Vasquez of Hamburg; daughter, Dr. Jennifer A. Nesfeder of Philadelphia; brother, David Nesfeder and his wife, Patricia of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews; pre-deceased by siblings, Robert and Madelyn. Services: A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 - 3:00 pm. Wednesday, in the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woody's Place (Senior German Shepherd Sanctuary, Inc.) c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box #196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
