Jess and family,
My son Andrew spoke fondly of Michael and enjoyed his humor. I didn't know your father, but wish I had. May he rest in peace and his memory and spirit remain in your hearts. May you find strength in numbers in this time of saddness. Jess, If there is anything we can do to help, you will allways have us as friends.
Sincerely,
The Kern Family

I had been a friend and Drive partner to Michael back in the Seventies. He and his family were very close friends . Somehow over the years we grew apart . I moved to Georgia , and lost all contact , until now when my Xwife sent me an email. Mike , you were and are in my prayers , I hope to someday see you again , and we will laugh and rehash old adentures. You were a GREAT friend , and you were a frequent visitor to bygone returning memories. I love you Mike , and now you are in Gods hands . I will always look back at the good times we had.

I am saddended to hear of Michael's passing, but know that in the grand scheme of things he is with those he loves who have moved on as he has just done. I miss seeing him as when I was younger at my grandparents and will always sherish those memories. Know that those remaining behind will always be in my prayers as he always was and still will remain.

Dear Jess and Family,I'm mot sure if you remember me but i met you a little while ago while checking out at Walmart and we starting talking because my father also had ALS.I just wanted to say I was sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.Jess, you impressed me by the way you took care of your father and helped him fight this horrible disease. In so many many ways you and your family reminded me so much of me and my family while my father fought ALS.Please take care of yourself and your family and remember your dad is in such a better place- no more suffering.I hope to see you again soon.

Pat and Jess - You are in my thoughts and prayers as you have lost in my eyes one of the greatest and strongest man who ever lived. He was a trooper who never complained and lived every day as it came! I love you all and am here if you need me!

Mike - We started off as just neighbors, and you then took me in as a daughter. We shared good times and bad! You were always there. I will never forget the smiles and laughter even through the hardest times. After the move and a lot of life changes we grew further apart, but still on the sporatic visits we were both right back where we left off. For that I am grateful. I am grateful to have met a man like you and to have you in my life for as long as I did. You were a true hero in my eyes and will always be in my heart and missed. No more pain, no more hard times, just be happy up there and keep smiling down on us as we know you will! Love you always.
